Karen began her real estate career 37 years ago with Poggi Realtors/Coldwell Banker.  In 1994 she became affiliated with Eileen R. Melone Real Estate until its recent closing to become a member of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Poggi Realtors Team.

She is a proud member of the Wyoming Valley community and has always enjoyed serving the selling and buying needs of her many clients.  She was active in the Kings College community and was a board member of the Act 101 Advisory Board, and for many years served as Captain of the Annual Fundraising Campaign.

She is a member of the Wilkes Barre Planning and Zoning Board and serves as secretary of the Board. She is an active member of the Wilkes-Barre Downtown Residents Association and, also, of the Hanover Notre Dame Club.  She belongs to the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and previously served as Vice Regent.
