No Tricks, Only Treats in October!!

Fall is here, and the colors are in full swing. With the rain we had in late August and September coupled with the warm temperatures, the colors have been brilliant! Hopefully, you have enjoyed them with a drive over Guardsman Pass or up Mirror Lake Highway. We’ve included our favorite October activities below.  Whether it is Wine Tasting while hiking, breaking a world record with one of our local distilleries, picking the perfect pumpkin or enjoying Howl-O-ween on Main Street, there is something for everyone to enjoy!  Our featured residence is a rarely available Larkspur townhome in Empire Pass, Deer Valley. It is perfect for an active and growing family who love to ski!  Keetley Ridge is our featured development this month. It is situated around the Lake at the Jordanelle and is only 5 minutes from the new Deer Valley East Resort, making it the ideal location for enjoyable summer to winter living.

In Eastern Summit County and Park City our market remains strong.  Available inventory has increased since last fall, and with the Federal Reserve interest rate cut, right now might be the perfect time to start looking for your dream residence!  Contact us today to start your search or click here for a free market analysis on your existing property.  As always, we are here for all of your property needs, so please reach out to us with any questions.

Celebrating a true local!

As many of you know, Tyler is fortunate to be a fifth generation Parkite and has experienced the development of Park City and Eastern Summit County firsthand. From 1990 to 1994, he had the pleasure of working for Charlie and Kathy Sturgess at White Pine Touring. Charlie has always been known as the "Godfather of Park City" and was recently recognized in the Desert News for the impact he had on developing the incredible trail system we are fortunate enough to enjoy today in and around Park City.  Check out the article celebrating all the amazing work he has done here.

In Park City you don't need to be an athlete

to be part of a record-breaking team!

Raise your glasses for Park City's annual Shot Ski event, hosted by Park City Sunrise Rotary Club.  The event continues the town’s rivalry with Breckenridge, Colorado, for the longest shotski. Last October, Park City broke the record with over 1,360 participants. Breckenridge fired back a few months later with more than 1,370 joining in its shotski. Participants will line Park City's Historic Main Street to throw one back on Saturday, October 12th at 12pm.  Purchase your tickets now!!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween in the Wasatch Back is a month long celebration! Kick it off by finding the perfect pumpkin at the Heber Pumpkin Patch.  Ranch Farms is a family-owned, self-service pumpkin patch in Heber. With Mount Timpanogos in the background, this will make for some gorgeous Halloween photos.

Throughout the month, don your costume and take a ride on the Pumpkin Train or the Halloween Express via the Heber Creeper.  For another great fall photo opp, head to the McPolin Farm on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 2-4pm for the Scarecrow Festival.  In addition to displaying your homemade scarecrow, there will be pumpkin painting, face painting, cookies and cider, so be sure to check out the information and purchase your tickets today!

Last but not least, don't forget the main event!  Tricks aside, Halloween on Historic Park City's Main Street was named one of the top Halloween celebrations in the country by Travel and Leisure magazine.  Everyone is encouraged to dress up and attend the festivities.  From 3-5pm, little ghosts and goblins are invited to trick or treat, compliments of participating merchants!  At 5:30 pm, gather for the Howl-O-Ween dog parade, an annual event dedicated to man’s best friend. Revelers come from all over Park City and beyond with their canine companions dressed in all manners of wacky, whimsical, or spooky costumes.
