Florida Keys Day was held on March 19,2019 in Tallahassee and is a day-long advocacy event that provides the people of Monroe County a chance to get up close and personal with lawmakers and staff who shape the policies that affect all organizations in the Florida Keys. FKD was initiated as the Class XVII Class Project and has been held each year since 2010.

We were proud to host a delegation to Tallahassee and have the opportunity to speak with legislators about the unique challenges we face here in the Keys.  On a lighter side we can't help but chuckle at this article from our friends at the Keys Weekly, "Top 10 Priorities to Propose to Tallahassee for Florida Keys Day"
