Florida Keys Seafood Festival

A two day celebration of the bounty of the sea

The 19th Annual Florida Keys Seafood Festival is Saturday, January 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. AND Sunday, January 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Truman Waterfront Park, Key West.

There is a $10 admission charge per person for adults, good for both days, which enters that person into a raffle for $250 worth of seafood. Children under 12 are admitted free. Proceeds benefit sustainable fisheries management programs and youth scholarships

On the Menu…

Fried Fish baskets or platters with slaw and black beans & rice, Fried clams basket, Grilled Spiny Lobster Platters, Stone Crab Claws with key lime mustard sauce, peel and eat Key West Pink Shrimp with cocktail sauce, Smoked Fish Dip with crackers, Creamy Lobster Bisque, Bahamian style Conch Chowder, Conch Ceviche, & Conch Fritters. Hot dogs and hamburgers also will be for sale. Beverages include beer, wine, rumaritas, rum runners, water, soda and coffees. Desserts included Estella’s Famous Flan and Natilla, Key Lime Pie and other homemade treats.

Adrienne Z Band

The Adrienne Z Band performs a wide spectrum of music from classic songs by Grand Funk, the Doobie Brothers and Fleetwood Mac, to more contemporary writers like Train, Adele and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Adrienne has released seven albums, nine singles and was nominated for both the Boston Music Awards and Key West Music Awards. Her songs “The Other side,” “Blue Day,” “Our Jamaica” and “Living a Dream” can be heard locally on Pirate Radio, US1 Radio and The X or wherever you stream. The Adrienne Z Band features Chris Burchard aka CRZB, Rick Cleaver from the popular MM 24 Band and Gregg Shanle aka Gman.

Marshall Morlock Band

Classic Rock

The Marshall Morlock Band is a high energy power rock trio that plays classic cover songs and original music. Also known as “MMB,” the band consists of Paul Reed Smith endorsed artist Marshall Morlock who plays all guitar parts (some behind his head) and lead vocals. Next up is Marshall’s Dad…Mr. Scott “Papa Keys” Morlock. Scott Morlock is a multi-instrumentalist who plays bass and keyboards simultaneously while singing. Last but not least, is the talented Randy Stindt. Randy is known for his energetic drumming that keeps the whole place rocking. He will also throw in some impromptu vocal sound effects. Come by to see and hear The Marshall Morlock Band, it will be time to MAKE SOME NOISE!

Southern Blood

Southern Blood is a band that can replicate and recreate the power and passion of true classic Southern Rock ‘n Roll! Hailing from South Florida, Southern Blood is comprised of some of the most talented touring artists who came together to become one of the most exciting new bands to hit the scene in decades! Prepare yourself for a ride through a storm of powerful epic Southern Rock that will catapult you into the past. Southern Blood recreates fan favorites from legendary bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, ZZ Top, Blackfoot, Allman Bros, Marshall Tucker, BlackBerry Smoke, Black Crowes and many more!

Monster is a Rock Band based on legendary music and from the late 60s, 70s, 80s and 90's including songs from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, Heart, Journey, The Rolling Stones, and many more. Monster is a collection of music that can take you on a journey down the road to rock with some of the greatest songs of the era. The high energy performance will exhilarate you and leave you with a great appreciation of rock music and its legendary songs.
Featuring an all-star band, Monster is sure to deliver!

Bahama Village Music School

Junkaneau and Jazz band

The Bahama Village Music Program has been in operation for 21 years, bringing free musical education and instruction to children aged 6 to 16 in our community. BVMP is more than just an educational institution, the program creates a great sense of community spirit and pride, fosters important mentor relationships between local teenage musicians and their students, encourages parent participation, and enhances student's self-esteem. Our target community, Bahama Village, is rich in cultural history and community involvement, inspiring our students to become not only better musicians, but also better human beings.

Homestead’s young AJ Gaytan & Southern Stampede, a Texas blues and soulful band that has written and made their own sound in their originals which is often called a Texas sounding rockin’ blues feeling with a lot of soul. They often play covers with their own punch and soulful feeling; they have become a top-notch band in South Florida.

The Seafood Festival celebrates our community by bringing families and friends together in a joyful and fun environment to sample the local catch. This family-friendly event was created to showcase local seafood and the Keys’ commercial fishing industry by providing the freshest seafood available. Each year our fishermen and women are proud to offer the community a variety of seafood at reasonable prices.

About the FKCFA

In addition to fisheries management, FKCFA takes an active role in our community focusing our efforts on both short and long-term benefits for our members with scholarship programs, seafood festivals, grant funding for special projects, educational programs, environmental responsibility through trap design studies and trap cleanup programs.
