The third Sunday of the month you will find our agents out in full force hosting our Parade of Homes Mega Open House Event.  This is an excellent opportunity to view some magnificent-and quite possibly your next home.  However, we don’t stop there…at our Parade of Homes you may be inspired to expand your family.

Each month we partner with the Florida Keys SPCA and host pets who are looking for their “furever” home.  Agents, homeowners and the SPCA volunteers first work on a match for the home and host an adoptable pet throughout the open house.  Tiffany Dunsmore, Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator jokes, “We tell them that if they buy the house, we will throw in the dog for free.”  She continued, “This partnership has allowed some of our animals to become more visible in the community.  It is beneficial to our animals; it allows them to break up their day and helps those who may be stressed or fearful an opportunity to socialize on an individual basis.”  Dunsmore has contributed the recent adoption of Mula, a mixed breed to the exposure from one of our open houses.  At Berkshire Hathaway, we are proud of our partnership with the SPCA.  Our next Parade of Homes Mega Open House Event will be June 16^th.  If you are interested in adoption or supporting please contact the Florida Keys SPCA.
