The dog days of Summer are upon us but the heat doesn't stop at the thermostat! The Palm Springs real estate market is still on fire with well priced homes moving quickly. The low inventory and low days on market indicate that Buyers are grabbing up great homes at every price point. While other Desert Resort Cities don't track as fast on home price and value recovery unlike Palm Springs, there are great values to find throughout the Coachella Valley for savvy Buyers who are willing to expand their search parameters. For Sellers, it is a competitive but healthy market. Your home should be "show ready" and priced competitively.
Palm Springs continues to buck the old trend of the season-only resort town with events happening all summer long. The Palm Springs Convention Center will be hosting its first Palm Springs Comic Con and Splash House returns to the local trendy hotels for another round of DJ-inspired, summer fun. Check out the article below for the recent debut at the Palm Springs Art Museum. It's a hot and happening time to be in the desert!

More information on the exhibit can be found here.
Two details we see over and over again in Mid-Century & Mid-Century Modern design continue to prove that it's still about form and fucntion. The clerestory window brings in light from lofty heights while the Sputnik chandelier gives off light inspired by even loftier heights. Both elements illuminate where we've been and where we could be heading.
