Winter in Palm Springs are unlike any others, and this winter wasn't any different. Our recent rains wreaked havoc for several days. Roads were closed, roofs leaked, visibility was restricted. Some visitors had to turn back, but when the rains cleared, we were all graced with such beauty surrounding us! These views were an amazing treat to acompany the clear skies and 70 degree weather here in our valley this winter. 

Desert X has taken over the Coachella Valley and brought their wonderful team of artists along with them. The eye catching art installations are back for another year of thrills here in the valley. Desert X represents how art behaves outside of its institutional walls. These groups of artist have created some of the most powerful artwork that has engaged many locals here in our valley. The desert is used as a beautiful pedestal for these intriguing works of art and its what makes this art show so special. Desert X is not here for long, April 21^st is the last day to stop by and see these wonderful projects before its gone!

One of the deserts best hidden treasures is right in the heart of Palm Springs. Moortens Botanical Garden is a great botanical exhibit that is home to many native cacti here in the valley. With many plants to discover, this garden is a great place to stop by and admire the desert species. With trails and info maps to follow, this botanical garden allows you to take create your own desert plant adventure. With a variety of sizes and species to choose from you'll have a great time choosing what to take home. 

Coachella is quickly approaching and ready to kick off the concert season! One of the biggest events here in our valley is less than a month away bringing in plenty of music junkies and partygoers to the polo grounds. This sold out show will be taking place Apr 12^th -14^th  and Apr 19^th - 21^st. With headliners such as Ariana Grande and Solange Knowles this festival will be one for the books! Along with Coahella, Stagecoach is also happening this April. With headliners such as Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean to name a few, this country music festival will continue to bring the excitement to many.
